What you’ll do

We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our small but mighty product team as we build the platform needed to decarbonize manufacturing and the built environment. Data is our secret sauce, so this role will lean more towards backend and data engineering. But our app is growing - you will sometimes own features end-to-end, but will also sometimes handoff or takeover feature development.

We are building a team of passionate problem-solvers and empowering them to build extraordinary products. As an early team member, you will have the unique opportunity to influence the company's technical strategy, architecture, and product development from the ground up. This is a hands-on role that requires creative flexibility, passion for problem-solving, deep technical expertise, and a drive to help bring the manufacturing industry into the 21st century.

In particular, you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the founders, designers, and other engineers to define, architect, and implement new features and functionalities.
• Look for ways to deploy novel LLM tools and other emerging technologies, and propose innovative solutions to improve our products and processes.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the application through proper coding practices and adherence to security standards.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and implement automated testing frameworks to maintain code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack, from front-end to back-end.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the team.

Who is this for

• 4+ years of experience in fullstack development, with at least 1+ year at an early stage startup. We’re looking for folks who are comfortable with ambiguity, switching from high-level strategy, to user design, to slinging code
• Passionate about writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
